The resounding success of Hospitality Horizon Top 50 Hotel Awards 2023, with TV Partner FoodFood, held at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on November 22 was followed by the stellar 11th edition of FoodFood Top 50 Restaurant Awards 2023, with Magazine Partner Hospitality Horizon, at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon on December 21, ending the year with a bang!
The star-studded evening brought together the who’s who of the food and hospitality industry to celebrate excellence – with 400-plus attendees the hall was full to capacity.
As the most gracious host, Tarun Seth, GM of Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, pulled out all stops and personally paid attention to every little detail to ensure a spectacular event.
The first segment of the awards ceremony was presented by the biggest foodie in the country Kunal Vijayakar who set the mood for the gala evening. Power couple and the first family of the restaurant industry Zorawar and Dildeep Kalra took the awards night to the next level by anchoring the second segment, setting the stage on fire.
The high energy powerhouse that he is, Zorawar had the audience glued to their seats while Dildeep upped the glamour quotient and bowled everyone over with her ready wit and abundant charm.
And, as always, Sanjeev Kapoor did the honours and presented the last and final segment, ending the evening on a high, high note!
FoodFood Top 30 Restaurant Awards 2022 held at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar was such a huge hit that Esteemed Jury Members, Directors and the Executive Committee decided to continue with the same format, expand the awards to Top 50 and stick to one national award.
Seeking to create a unique platform to recognise culinary talent, FoodFood Top 50 Restaurant Awards 2023 ranked the top 50 restaurants in India in order of votes by the Grand Jury.
Under the stewardship of Chairman of the Jury Nakul Anand, Chairman, FAITH, and Co-Chairperson Priya Paul, Chairperson, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels and Chief Advisers KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group and Camellia Panjabi, Queen of Indian Food, winners of the Jury Choice Awards were decided by the who’s who of the food and hospitality industry while the winners of the Editorial Choice Awards were decided by the Editorial Board.
Not surprisingly, Indian Accent, New Delhi, once again bagged the top slot for the number one restaurant in the country followed by Masque, Mumbai, and Masala Library, Mumbai.
