Hospitality Horizon Spa & Wellness Summit & Awards 2025 honoured the best of the best in the industry

There was no better way to celebrate Global Wellness Day on June 14 than by recognising and honouring the best of the best in the spa and wellness industry at the inaugural edition of Hospitality Horizon Spa & Wellness Summit & Awards 2025 by Trikaya Media Group in collaboration with Hospitality Horizon magazine.
Hosted by Sofitel Mumbai BKC, the event was attended by the who’s who of the industry. Hospitality Horizon Spa & Wellness Summit & Awards 2025 presented and conceptualised by global leading holistic wellness guru and pioneer of holistic health for 45 years with 54 years of practising yoga Dr Mickey Mehta and Powered by ANTAR.
An integrated wellness platform bridging ancient traditions with modern science founded by Karishma Mickey Mehta, ANTAR promises to be India’s most credible, prestigious and transformative celebration of spa and wellness.
Publisher of Hospitality Horizon and CEO of Trikaya Media Group, the organiser of the event, Shafquat Ali spoke about genesis of the event and the need for such a credible award for the spa and wellness industry.

The ever popular Hrishi K, National Brand Head Radio One India Network & Radio, hosted the evening along with celebrity chef Rakhee Vaswani, who kept the audience enthralled.
The summit had an amazing line-up of the best minds in the spa and wellness industry. Nikhil Kapur, Co-Founder and Director of Atmantan Wellness Centre, which is a one-of-its kind centre that offers result-oriented health programmes based on the philosophy of Integrated Wellness, opened the summit with a thought-provoking presentation on bringing real-life experience to wellness as a whole. A passionate and research driven wellpreneur since entering the space of transformative wellness, he had the audience riveted to their seats.
Dana Bhandari, Founder of DanaVeda, was next to take to the stage. A dedicated health and well-being practitioner who has spent almost three decades in the medical and wellness space, she held forth on the benefits of integrating science and spirituality and allopathic medicine with alternative therapies.
Next up was Rajiv Kapoor, GM of the newly opened Fairmont Mumbai. He elaborated on the state-of-the-art facilities the hotel offers, bringing all the fixings of a remote wellness retreat to the heart of the city. He went to explain how Fairmont Spa & Longevity has set a new wellness benchmark as India’s first hotel to feature the pioneering Blu Xone – an innovative space with age-defying therapies like Cryotherapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Pod, and more for complete rejuvenation.
The last and final speaker was Heidi Grimwood, Senior VP of Atmosphere Wellness and ELE|NA Spa Company. A wellness luminary with over 25 years of experience, Heidi is a global spa leader who has shaped wellness with 25-plus years of innovation and sustainability.
As someone who has led global spa and wellness projects, she highlighted how wellness hospitality sector is undergoing a profound transformation, driven in part by a deeper understanding of well-being and an increasing demand for personalised, purpose-driven experiences. Furthermore, she stressed that travellers today often seek more than just relaxation; they desire meaningful connections to their health, the environment and the communities they visit.
After an invigorating exchange of information, ideas and insights, time came for the much-awaited awards. They included Jury Choice Awards and Editorial Choice Awards. Winners of the Jury Choice Awards were decided by the Esteemed Jury comprising the who’s who of the industry while winners of the Editorial Choice Awards were decided by the Editorial Board.
