A seasoned hospitality design and
technical expert with over two
decades of progressive experience,
Reema is excellent at taking over and
turning around conversion projects
into design-led hotels, expressing
unique language and experience. She
has successfully unveiled 79 hotels
and counting throughout her career.
Presently, Reema holds the
venerable position of Director of
Design and Technical Services for
Accor, India & South Asia, a
testament to her expertise in the
segment. She heads the planning,
design, and construction of projects
under Accor. She is also responsible
for designing immersive guest
experiences through brand
touchpoints.

How do you manage work-life
balance?
For me, it’s about being mindful and
prioritising and also focus on overall
well-being. I believe it’s more of
work-life integration than work-life
balance. One needs to build one’s own
coping mechanism that suits oneself.
My day starts with a cup of coffee,
followed by a powerful workout
which sets the rhythm for the day and
I am ready to take on the diverse roles
and facets through the day.

What inspires you?
I am definitely drawn to good
designs! Well-designed and
artistically curated spaces,
experiences inspire me a lot. One
thing that motivates me is working
with emerging trends and also
providing unique experiences. This
helps me do the right thing and bring
together what is good for the
business and also the community.
