Rajat has had a long and diversified career, having
worked across a wide range of sectors. With a
profound experience in the hospitality sector, he is
an accomplished leader.
As a conscientious professional, Rajat’s main goal
is to capitalise on his skills, knowledge, and
experience to propel the organization towards
accomplishing its goals. His proficiency and
abundant knowledge in finance has significantly
improved financial operations by guaranteeing
accuracy and effectiveness. Rajat is adept at
cultivating robust client connections as a virtue of
his natural ability to nurture relationships, which is
essential in driving revenue growth for the
organization.

What does your regular day look like?
A typical day for me starts with a quick review of the
individual hotels’ previous day’s key metrics
followed by any pre-scheduled calls or meetings, and
then I get onto calls with general managers from a
few hotels, finance heads, discuss performance, cash
flows and offer guidance and support to achieve the
financial goals effectively.
Once done, then I do my daily catch-ups with other
department heads at the corporate office to discuss
and focus on strategies covering growth,
performance and people. I value connecting with
team members on a warm and personal level,
fostering a positive and collaborative work
environment.

What inspires you?
As a CFO and a devoted father of two affectionate
and compassionate children, my life’s two pivotal
pillars drive inspiration: professional and personal
growth.
In my professional sphere, the ever-evolving
landscape of finance and the dynamic hospitality
industry serve as powerful catalysts, igniting my
determination to surmount challenges and
champion innovation. Interacting with a diverse
array of individuals, particularly the vibrant younger
generation, hailing from various backgrounds and
life stages, continually exposes me to novel
experiences and invaluable insights, compelling me
to embrace change and cultivate adaptability.
