astian reopens on the 48th floor of Kohinoor
Square, Dadar, boasting breath-taking
Brooftop dining with city views and a
weekend swimming pool. This cave-like restaurant
is designed by Minal Chopra and Ranjit Bindra,
featuring rustic-chic interiors, including a
Cappadocia-esque entrance, unfinished
cobblestone flooring, and travertine marble.
The restaurant has distinct areas, including a
forest-themed space with a plunge pool and a
main bar area with lounge seating. The fine-dining
section offers intimate seating, while another DJ
creates a dynamic atmosphere. The overall
ambience is characterised by neutral tones,
wicker ceiling lamps, and a chicly distressed vibe,
reflecting the unique identity of Bastian.
Bastian brings back its beloved classics and
introduces exciting new dishes. Dinner options
include salads, cold dishes, classics like
Mongolian Lamb and Baked Brie, seafood
choices, and Robata dishes. Lunch offers bowls,
pasta, and a sumptuous brunch menu with
indulgent dishes like Crab Toast and Red-Hot
Chicken Waffles.
Bastian’s Instagrammable desserts are a hit, with
options like Banana Box and Pedro Pudding.
Favourites like Lotus Kunafa Cheesecake and
Baked Alaska are also available. The bar program
at Bastian – At the Top is elevated, featuring
Crystal Clear cocktails, Fizzy Fusions, and Farm to
Glass libations. Classic drinks and Bastian Negroni
variations complete the impressive beverage
menu crafted by talented mixologists.
