DUBAI-INSPIRED KUNAFA CHOCOLATES
ARE A HIT AT MOZIMO, CHANDIGARH
here’s chocolate, and then there’s
chocolate with a story. Step inside
TMozimo in Chandigarh, and you’re
not just buying a bar, you’re entering a
temple of cocoa, where artistry meets a
deep-rooted obsession with the craft. But
let’s cut to the shining star of their line-up,
the Dubai-inspired Kunafa Pistachio
Chocolate Bar, a treat so ingenious it feels
like a love letter to both the Middle East’s
most iconic dessert and Europe’s revered
chocolate tradition.
Let me tell you, biting into this is like
catching the ‘crunch’ of autumn leaves
underfoot, delicately crispy but oh-so-
satisfying. The Kunafa threads weave a
golden crunch through the 45 per cent
cocoa, a perfectly tuned harmony
between sweet and nutty.
And the pistachio? Oh, it’s no wallflower.
A glorious swirl of pure pistachio paste
meets luscious white chocolate, hitting
that fine line between indulgent and
balanced. It’s a bite-sized mirage, a rich,
velvety oasis right in your hand.
I sampled it under the dramatic
Venetian mirrors of Mozimo’s café, where
even the light seems to jazz off the glossy
chocolate bars. Trust me, this Kunafa
creation doesn’t just deserve to be eaten;
it demands an encore. Curtain call?
Gladly.
