After the resounding success of the pioneering inaugural edition of the citywise Epicurean Restaurant Ratings 2024 Bengaluru at Conrad Bengaluru in October, the next edition was held to celebrate the best of the best restaurants in Delhi NCR in November.
The who’s who of Delhi NCR’s food and hospitality industry as well as celebrities and HNIs including Shipra Khanna, Rocky Singh, Jamal Shaikh, Mandeep Lamba, Sid Jalan, Rinky Madan and Amin Ali gathered at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.
This was the first time ever that there was an independently tabulated and adjudicated ratings by the trusted Ernst & Young (EY), making these restaurant ratings both credible and transparent. The evaluation process was impartial and thorough, involving various key industry professionals and tastemakers. More importantly, no fees were charged.
Mentored by Rashmi Uday Singh, Kunal Vijayakar and Sid Mewara, the restaurants were voted by an esteemed independent jury comprising over 60 leading food critics and connoisseurs.
The ratings were divided into two categories – Epicurean Stars (Fine Dining) and Epicurean Gems (Casual Dining) – covering the culinary landscape in Delhi NCR from end to end.
While ITC was the Presenting Partner, UNOX and Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) were the Powered by Partners. In addition, Ariane Fine Porcelain and Bisleri Vedica were the Associate Partners and Premier Printers was the Trophy Partner.
Grand Hyatt Gurgaon GM Tarun Seth personally oversaw every little detail along with his team to present another grand spectacle for the food and hospitality industry. “We are delighted to host this amazing event and celebrate the best in the F&B industry in Delhi NCR,” Tarun said.
After the Bengaluru and Delhi NCR editions, the final leg of ITC Presents Epicurean Restaurant Ratings 2024 took place at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu on December 17. This year, the plan is further expand and add three more cities to these ratings.
The overwhelming response to these ratings prove how important it is to recognise, honour and celebrate culinary excellence in each city. More importantly, the ratings take into consideration every segment of restaurants from fine dine (stars) to the smaller, lesser known eateries (gems) so that the F&B industry is truly well represented.
